Airport Eats: Oakland's Aunt Anne's

Posted on 11:44 AM by

My daughter, Paris, and I are off on a mother-daughter getaway to Portland, Ore. (more on that later). This morning at the Oakland airport, we picked up a pretzel covered in cinnamon and sugar from Aunt Anne's, tucked in away in a small stall in the terminal for Southwest Airlines. Paris and I bought just one to share and we ended up getting a second one. We both agree that these tasty treats are even better than donuts. The pretzel café also has savory offerings, from pretzel dogs to sourdough twists slathered in sour cream and chives.

You can find Aunt Anne's at airports all over the country. Click here for locations.
